Initial painful condition: Hot packs. Later: Physiotherapy. Bladder and bowel care. Prevention of bed sores. Respiratory involvement: Maintain posture to prevent aspiration. Keep airway open and clear. Ventilatory support if neded. Maitain fluid and caloric intake.
