What are the better accredited nursing programs in Indiana?

I am currently attending Ivy Tech Community College and about done with my pre-reqs. However I have little faith that I will get accepted into the program. These are my grades: Eng 111: A, Eng 112: A, Math: B, Psychology: B, Sociology: A, Interpersonal Comm: A, Life Skills: A, Chemistry: D (will take over again next spring), Anatomy 1: B or C (depending how I do on the final next week). My GPA is like a 3.1 or 3.2. I am taking Anatomy 2 in the Fall.
Since the nursing program is so competitive, I know I can either take over my pre req classes until I have A’s for all of them, or switch to a private school, or move to another state or switch to a different major, however I really want to be an RN. I guess I could live with being an LPN, but eventually I would still want to get my Ba in nursing. I just want to hear your thoughts about these options.

I also want to know your recommendations as far as accredited nursing schools in Indiana with low or no waiting list.

What are some other majors close to RN with same or almost same pre-requisites and decent pay when graduating? I’m 25 years old, have 2 children and I work Full Time nights. My financial life’s a struggle right now, I really can’t take years and years to finish my college.

Help picking the right school!? Nursing?

Hey. so i live in new jersey and i go to Rutgers (in Newark.. not as good as New Brunswick), anyways i hate the atmosphere there so i want to transfer out. There is a really great nursing program in rutgers but i did not get accepted and its tough to get into (like 9 people get in each year type thing) so i feel like i dont have much chance there. Anyways i want to ask any experienced nurses or people who are thinking about nursing what is the best path to purse a nursing career.. how hard was it? I hear its equivalent to becoming a doctor.. i hope its not that hard. Anywho anybody wanna tell me their story or advice ill greatly appreciate it, Thank you!

Where can I find accurate journals of medical discoveries on topics such as AIDS or cancer?

I am interested in entering the medical research field when I am older and would like to know where I can find out what kind of things have been found and what kind of research has already been done about various diseases. I have been to a few sites but they all require a fee to print the articles so I would highly prefer a free yet legit site.
