Ok I have only asked/answerd a few questions in here but there are numerous people who DONT answer your questions and just leave links saying “nursing is good but make money doing this” and give a link? Anyone else fed up with that?
I have been reporting it every time I see it because I want answers not some scam!

This is my first practice nurse care plan and our group decided that Eating was more important to deal with first. A little background on example pt. The woman is surg post op 6 weeks for glioma. She is 57 yrs of age and has lost 7 lbs in 6 weeks. She is not interested in eating and is wearing a wig. She is not responding to laxatives. Do you think dealing with the eating problem is more important than constipation?

I am a RN w/ associates degree and want to be a NP. There are accelerated programs offering RN to MSN without obtaining a BSN. But I am wondering if not having the BSN first makes you less desirable to employers. The schools offering the accelerated programs are very good schools like the University of Michigan.
Hello, I am starting my nursing clinicals and I will be on a tele floor. I am nervous because I don’t have the strongest clinical skills due to lack of experience. I know patients on this floor are monitored carefully and even have cameras in every room to monitor all care. I was hoping someone would be able to tell me specific things to watch out for or some procedures I should review before starting. Any information would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I specifically asked to have an appointment with a psychiatrist and was given an appointment with a “RN BSN”. I assume this is a highly specialized degree but am I mistaken in my assumption that a “RN BSN” is not a psychiatrist.
I am looking for a current (within the last year) newspaper or magazine article that discusses collective bargaining OR conflict resolution in nursing. I have searched a public library databases, my university’s databases, and search engines and have not found any thing relevant. Does any one have any suggestions on resources/websites for articles related to issues in nursing? ANY ideas would be greatly appreciated since I have already spent so much time searching! Thanks!
