After graduating from medical school, people do an internship for one year, and then a residency for 2-8 years depending on what their speciality of medicine.
Anyways, my sister was supposed to finish her internship this July, and then do her residency afterwards. However, her supervisory resident (who is very obnoxious) wrote a lot of nasty comments about my sister. Therefore, the hospital has forced my sister to stay back for an 6 additional months. This means that she cannot start her residency until January 2008, which is totally unfair.
Because this is unfair, I was wondering if there was any way to appeal this extension. Please feel free to provide me with any relevant website, articles, and books.

Hello. I am aiming to apply for a nursing program whre I live and the rquirements state you either have to pass the computer comptency class OR have passed a computer class.
Which should I do? Take the comptency test or just take and pass the class? Advice?
Also, math isn’t my strongest point. I am in algebra right now and studying hard but I am scared!
I am a 15 year old junior graduating 2010. After high school i want to go to school to become a nurse. Is nursing school hard work? how much homework, reading, etc is there. any advice on classes to take now (my school offers alot) and any advice about nursing school
I am currently attending Ivy Tech Community College and about done with my pre-reqs. However I have little faith that I will get accepted into the program. These are my grades: Eng 111: A, Eng 112: A, Math: B, Psychology: B, Sociology: A, Interpersonal Comm: A, Life Skills: A, Chemistry: D (will take over again next spring), Anatomy 1: B or C (depending how I do on the final next week). My GPA is like a 3.1 or 3.2. I am taking Anatomy 2 in the Fall.
Since the nursing program is so competitive, I know I can either take over my pre req classes until I have A’s for all of them, or switch to a private school, or move to another state or switch to a different major, however I really want to be an RN. I guess I could live with being an LPN, but eventually I would still want to get my Ba in nursing. I just want to hear your thoughts about these options.
I also want to know your recommendations as far as accredited nursing schools in Indiana with low or no waiting list.
What are some other majors close to RN with same or almost same pre-requisites and decent pay when graduating? I’m 25 years old, have 2 children and I work Full Time nights. My financial life’s a struggle right now, I really can’t take years and years to finish my college.
What’s the suitable nursing care plan for a suicidal patient wth that Nsg.Dx?
