well i just found out that my final is going to be a 10-14 pg care plan.. n i want all the help i can get… so, any1 out there if u know of any website where i can get help or see sample care plan so i can atleast get an idea of what i have to do, please let me know… much appreciated!
might depend on what branch of nursing you’re in
include an introduction and a conclusion which is worth another page between them, and i’m pretty sure you could fill in the rest 
since i don’t know any more detail about your work i can’t say what else you might include…referrals to appropriate agencies or departments for example for further treatment?
10- 14 pages seems a lot, but don’t panic, it isn’t that much – couple (and a bit) thousand words!
i treated mine as i would any academic essay with a start, a middle and an ending – sounds basic i know, but sometimes basic is good….
what i would DEFINITELY cover
a description of my patient
his or her history
admission into my care
current needs of the patient on an hourly, daily or weekly basis depending on what kind or nursing situation you are in
what your expectationf of meeting those needs are and the reasons why you think you will as well as any reasons why you may not
what your ideal expectations are for this patient over the duration of his or her stay with you
and what your exit strategy is for them
one easy way of doing this is to think of a patient you have already nursed, or are nursing…think of what you did for them or are currently doing…change ALL of their identifying information but describe your work in the form of your care plan…
basically what the final is asking you to do is describe what you already do on a practical level so that you can not only show your grasp of HOW it’s all done, as well as showing your knowledge of any relevant procedures, but it also teaches you to teach others (students!) how to for a later date!
if you take each of the seven bullet points above as a starter and write a page each, that’s you half way there
