Okay…I’m taking pre-reqs for nursing school (BSN/MSN), so far so good, however, I’m stretching my self out. It’s almost becoming overwhelming and stressful. My brain “hurts”!!! This week alone, I had 2 exams (Microbiology and Anat&Phys.), 1 project (Statistics), and 2 quizzes (Stats and Am. Hist), what can I do to not get so stressed and stay afloat in my classes, without this huge overwhelming feeling???? I knew that it was going to be difficult, but good grief!!!

- What are the steps to becoming a “nurse anesthetist’?
I know how you feel dear. Been there done that and had a household to run, a child to raise and a full time job as well. Just hang in there. Micro and A&P are the most difficult in my opinion . Once you get through those the rest will be much easier. It may help if you set aside an hour a day just for yourself to meditate or do some other stress releieving activity.
OK, you had a lot to do, but you did it, right? This is just one of those times that you have to remember all your cohort is going through the same thing, and you WILL make it. It’s just a thing, and it will be over, and you will become a nurse.
And what could be better than that? What an opportunity. Hang in there – we need nurses, and we need you, and that will end up being one of the great satisfactions in your life.
I have friends that are nursing student and I understand that it can be stressful.
You just need to learn to manage your time. But most nursing students don’t have a life b/c they have to study so much.
You only get stressed when you think you can’t succeed, so far it seems that you are doing fine so just tell yourself that you are doing well so far and that you have this. Study and stay calm.
Think of it this way in a few years you will be making pretty good money but if you don’t finish school then you won’t be and struggling in life. What would you rather do struggle with school or struggle with life?
Good luck and just relax…
no pain no gain….keep in mind the useful and responsible person you will become in society once you have your qualifications…….studying takes hard work and commitment but the rewards will be yours in the end……
good luck keep going…….and just play it one day at a time…YOUR DOING GREAT
