In America, How Many Year You Need To Go On After Finishing Lpn To Rn?

In America, I would like to know after we finished Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN) can we go for Register Nurse (RN). Could you tell me how many year do I need to go for RN.

    RN is registered nurse, it takes 3-4 years to get a degree.
    if you are an LPN, you can take entrance tests for the RN program. If you pass those tests you can enter a 2 year nursing program in the second year and in that case it would take 1 year to get the RN
