My dad has hepatits C. I was carrying in a plastic bag for him, and he blood glucose meter was in there. He had left in a used test strip. It poked through the plastic bag and scraped my leg (I was wearing shorts). I immediately doused it with alcohol. What else should I do? Do you think I am infected now? I’m pretty sure it broke through the skin slightly because I have a scratch line visible.
Blood to Blood contact. Were you bleeding? If you were then go to the doctors and get tested
to relieve your fears if you know you are neg. now, wait 6 mon. and get retested..good luck
