I fell off a ladder and landed on my back and hit my head on a metal door. Went to the ER and couldnt get a proper diagnosis. I have numbness on the whole left side of my body and cant move my toes not due to pain but they just wont move.My left hip hurts bad. After the fall I blacked out and when i came to I was confused and my eyes were blurry and light hurt my eyes. I also hurt my neck. I had an MRI and Catscan and there are no fractures or broken bones. I cant walk. All they did was give me a cane and send me on my way. What is wrong with me? What additional tests do i ask for?
You need to go back to a different ER, possibly one that is a teaching hospital or a large university. You need further tests. What they are is hard to say with out a physical exam & looking at your previous tests. Just tell them your symptoms.
