How much does new grad registered nurse make in southern california?

I got extremely confused after some research on RN’s salary, some say they make – per hour or ,000 – ,000 per year. But there are website say they make – per hour, my mom say some of her friends who are nurse make over 100k by working over time, is that even possible?

I honestly don’t know the answer to that, but I would assume around high twenties to low thirties as a new grad. I only think that because of the high cost of living over there. It depends on if you work nights too, seeing as how it would be an average of $3-6 more an hour (depends on the facility and what their night differential is). I know this isn’t exactly the answer you were looking for but I hope it helps somewhat. Here is a link that might help give you the answer to this: http://allnurses.com/california-nursing/starting-pay-new-504219.html

    Hope this helps!
