Both programs are new/near new, and there are pros and cons to both. Has anyone attended either one of these programs or know anyone who has? Any advice/input would be appreciated.

I do live in Austin, but I should mention I received a 1/2 tuition (1/2 of out-of-state) scholarship for ETSU. This brings the cost down to just above in-state tuition for Texas State. I have family that is willing to give me free living in TN, where here in Austin I have a house that I currently live in, but would need to lease out if I move (don’t want to sell). I am a non-traditional student who is single with no kids, so I would like to have access to cultural activities or a nightlife, but Johnson City lacks in that area (Austin rocks in that area)! But, being in nursing school would give little time for extracurricular activities, so I would probably be more focused in TN. I just hate the thought of leaving Austin…….I’m torn. Johnson City is beautiful and there is plenty to do outdoors in nature, but Austin is Austin……….and nursing school is nursing school…LOL
