About To Graduate High School And I Want To Be A Nurse: Should I Get The Adn Or The Bsn?

i will graduate in May, and i have decided that i want to be a nurse, but my main problem is i don’t know if i should get my Associates degree first and then get my bachelors, or get the bachelors first. Either way i want the BSN so i can get my MSN to be and NP.
but i’m 18 and money is sort of an issue i already have a Texas tomorrow fund in which i have an associates already paid for but i want to know is it better to get and ADN and then go back later to get the BSN?
I’m also wondering what it is like to be a man in predominately female career.

Do Universities Take Your Credit Into Consideration When Looking At Applications Into Graduate School?

I’m trying to get into either an RN to BSN program or RN to MSN so that I can later apply to a graduate study program of Nurse Anesthesia. Most of my issues are from when I was 18 years old which was 10 years and more recently a hospital bill.

Okay…I’m taking pre-reqs for nursing school (BSN/MSN), so far so good, however, I’m stretching my self out. It’s almost becoming overwhelming and stressful. My brain “hurts”!!! This week alone, I had 2 exams (Microbiology and Anat&Phys.), 1 project (Statistics), and 2 quizzes (Stats and Am. Hist), what can I do to not get so stressed and stay afloat in my classes, without this huge overwhelming feeling???? I knew that it was going to be difficult, but good grief!!!

I’ve heard there are but everywhere I look, I only find RN-to-BSN, BSN, MSN, or certificate programs. Does anyone have specific names of schools that offer partial or full online course work to complete the associate’s degree nedeed to take the RN licensure exam? I’m aware that clinicals are on site so I guess the school would have to be in or affiliated with one in the LA area where I live. (Pasadena specifically). Thanks!

What is the best wrist watch to have as a working nurse? I’m a guy nearing nursing school graduation. So unisex is fine… just not pink lol. I think I should get an analog watch instead of digital. Advice and links to specific watches would be great.
My feelings: I don’t like metal bands. Must not be a metal band. I have not worn a watch in a decade, and prefer one that is not huge.

Hi! I have a question regarding whether I have to go to school and get a BSN to get my MSN to become a nurse practitioner? There are excellerated programs to get me the masters degree in 3 years. Also what else can one do with a masters degree in nursing? Can any NP’s tell me what they do exactly and if they like their job or not? What specialties are there? Thanks in advance!
