Dr. Burke performed this procedure on my daughter at 8 days old. She isï»¿ now 3 years old and perfectly healthy. I thank God every day for Dr. Burke and the miracle workers at Miami Children’s. I have my beautiful daughter to thank them for.

Thank you so much for sharingï»¿ this. My daughter is expected to be born with TGA, VSD, and pulmonary stenosis. It’s good to see just what should be expected after having only “normal” deliveries before. This keeps us hopeful!

I added a video response of my daughter, Isabella’s, ballet recital which was this June. Isabella was born with TGA and Dr. Burke corrected her condition with thisï»¿ surgery on November 23rd, 2005 when she was 8 days old. Isabella will be 4 in November. She is in preschool, intelligent, funny and perfectly healthy. I cannot say enough about Dr. Burke and his staff at Miami Children’s. He is an amazing, compassionate surgeon who is a parent himself. I am thankful for him every day.
