   I added a video response of my daughter, Isabella’s, ballet recital which was this June. Isabella was born with TGA and Dr. Burke corrected her condition with this surgery on November 23rd, 2005 when she was 8 days old. Isabella will be 4 in November. She is in preschool, intelligent, funny and perfectly healthy. I cannot say enough about Dr. Burke and his staff at Miami Children’s. He is an amazing, compassionate surgeon who is a parent himself. I am thankful for him every day.

   I’m speechless.That was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. My wife at our wedding, my three babies when they were born, and this video of Isabella at her ballet recital, three years after we repaired her heart. I’ll never forget it. Thank you.Redmond Burke MD

   Thank you so much for sharing this. My daughter is expected to be born with TGA, VSD, and pulmonary stenosis. It’s good to see just what should be expected after having only “normal” deliveries before. This keeps us hopeful!

   Dr. Burke performed this procedure on my daughter at 8 days old. She is now 3 years old and perfectly healthy. I thank God every day for Dr. Burke and the miracle workers at Miami Children’s. I have my beautiful daughter to thank them for.
