My mother is a retired RN(25yrs-and she did’nt even start nursing scholl until 40), I almost went into nursing scchool, but just did’nt have the guts I guess. Advice? FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS!!! Be fearless. Make as many friends already in the business as possible, tell them your aspirations, let them know you may need their support from time to time. You CAN DO this!! And above all, let everything you do be motivated by love…..

Find out what book they are going to use for your A&P class and go ahead and purchase it. Start reading it now and familiarize yourself with basic anatomy. This will be like learning a forgien language unless you have some prior medical background.
    Good Luck
