im 19 yrs. old. ive been with my bf for 2 yrs. now. im a nursing student. and a baby is not in our plans anytime soon. BUT, I recently had a UTI and had it months before but didnt take care of it because no insurance or doctor. About a week ago I got a really really bad pain in my stomach…so I went to the doctor and got antibiotics for this UTI. Well I had my period a week before that UTI ordeal, but lately I’ve been feeling really bloated and full and it doesnt go away. I’m on birth control never missed a pill or period. My bf and I do have sex towards the end of my bleeding cycle. IS there any way I could be pregnant? I havent had any symptoms of pregnancy other than bloating. I’m still on the antibiotics for the UTI. PLEASE! I’m panicking and need some advice! I’m not ready for a baby, I havent finished college yet. AND my bf just graduated. The nurse took a urine sample when she checked for the UTI, she wouldve told me if I was preggers right?
Antibiotics can decrease the effectiveness of your birth control pills and you can get pregnant.
